About our Vintage Wedding Blog

Dotty Vintage Weddings was established in July 2012, and is a UK based vintage wedding blog and magazine.
Dotty Vintage Weddings aims to provide inspiration and guidance for couples looking to organise a wedding with a difference. The wedding industry has become saturated with predetermined ideas and perceptions. Mr & Mrs-to-be assume that they have to follow the norm, and often don’t even know where to start looking if they want to break from tradition.
Dotty Vintage Weddings features some of the very best wedding suppliers and services, all with a vintage or quirky twist. You can also find real weddings, styled shoots and regular guest blogs from both other brides and suppliers alike.
Dotty Magazine is published on a quarterly basis, and you can find out more over here, in the magazine section.
Tilly Corke - Owner, Blogger & Editor
Hello there my name is Tilly, I am owner, editor and blogger of Dotty Vintage publishing…. I’m a Westcountry girl although half Finnish (thanks to my wonderful mother). I am hugely passionate about all things vintage from the quirky to the quintessentially British – I find beauty in all.
My world is one of ordered chaos, happiness and humour which I share with my beautiful son and our many dogs…. We live in a blissful blur of sailing, surfing, walking on the beach in the countryside and hurtling around in land rovers puddle finding, we love and make the best of all weathers.
I’m studying for a BSc specialising in Nutrition and Exercise, especially how it affects our mental health and health in general. I look forward to sharing my research and personal experience to help others grow.
Good, trustworthy, positive friends are of huge value to us as is good food and log fires.

Andrea Pengelly - Blogger, Editor
I’ve joined the Dotty Team as joint editor & blogger with Tilly.
I love days out with my children. I’m creative, enthusiastic & have my own Photography business.
My motto – life is too short to watch others achieve your dreams & goals!

Faye Neo - Designer, Tea drinker
Hi there! So this is the part where I tell you a little about myself! Eccck, I’m terrible at these things! Anyway, here goes; I’m a curly haired, design geek who possibly (definitely) drinks too much tea, while living in my vintage bubble, surrounded by my (moany) cats!
It all started in 2012 when I finally decided to set up my own studio called ‘Curly Chops Design’; specialising in wedding stationery and business branding. I wanted to take my passion for vintage style & quirky design, & create a studio where different was definitely better! Little did I know, but in a parallel universe far far away ‘Dotty Vintage Weddings’ was being born. Our worlds collided on Twitter later that year, and the rest is history! I’ve been a lucky lass & been involved with the Dotty project from the very beginning & the sole designer behind Dotty Magazine. And boy, it’s been one hell of a ride so far!!
Four years on & my feet haven’t touched the ground. From the cute & the quirky, to the modern & the beautiful – I have been privileged to design for so many awesome couples and wonderful businesses (all while wearing my slippers…shhhh, don’t tell anyone!)
In Sept 2015, Curly Chops welcomed their latest recruit…well, when I say ‘recruit’, I actually mean ‘gave birth’…same thing really…but the training process is just a little longer for the latter. So now I have two babies in my life; my business & my boy!

Dennis Brown - Technical Manager, Occasional blogger
I usually prefer to be behind the scenes making sure our technology is running smoothly so finding something to write about myself is a step out into the big wide world.
I helped Laura keep the Dotty blog up and running during her tenure and I feel privileged to have been kept on by Tilly. I look forward to even writing the occasional blog (from a man’s point of view).
Despite being a bit of a geek I also enjoy all things quirky and vintage. Oh and lots of sport – I’m from New Zealand so sport is a given.
